Hi HN,

We built Cronus, a context-aware time tracker for macOS that uses LLMs to differentiate productive tasks from distractions—even on sites like YouTube or LinkedIn.

Existing apps frustrated us because they either strictly blocked useful sites or required constant manual tracking. Cronus understands context automatically: - Accurately labels productive vs. distracted time (e.g., coding tutorial vs. random scrolling) - Menu-bar mini-timer to subtly gamify productivity - Supports 24h time-tracking with ai suggestions based on calendar activity - Understand where you actually spend your time - Nudges instead of rigid site blockers

Would love feedback, particularly on how intuitive the tracking feels and any improvements you'd like to see in the UI/UX.

Also working on adding local model support for the activity categorization.

You can give it a try here: https://cronushq.com

Happy to answer any technical questions or discuss how the categorization works under the hood! – Moritz & Arne
